Texas Firefighters Find Ring Following 'Fill the Boot'

Cleburne firefighters received an unexpected surprise Thursday, a ring, which appears to be a wedding ring, in a boot.

Firefighters for the last week collected money at intersections in and around downtown for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Fill the Boot campaign.

They discovered the ring after emptying one of the boots on Thursday. The ring was dropped at the collection point on West Henderson Street near Walmart.

"We don't know whether someone threw it in there or it slipped off their finger," CPD Chief Clint Ishmael said.
