Two firefighters and two civilians were injured after a responding Pasadena engine was struck by a car late Saturday night.
Engine 32 was traveling southbound on Craig Avenue with its lights and siren activated when it was broadsided by a Chevy Malibu around 11:15 p.m., department spokeswoman Lisa Derderian told KNBC-TV.
The crash occurred at Craig Avenue and Corson Street as the engine was en route to an emergency call.
The engine stopped at a red traffic signal before proceeding into the intersection where it was struck by the sedan driven by a teenage boy.
The boy and his adult passenger and two firefighters were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
