A Pennsylvania responder was killed in an ambulance crash Saturday morning.
Authorities told WJAC-TV that Ethan Amsbaugh, 22, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was ejected from the Mount Union Fire Company ambulance during the crash.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Deborah Mease, 55, the driver, was treated for minor injuries and was released from the hospital Saturday morning, the station reported.
MUFC members told reporters the ambulance was returning to the station after dropping off a patient at a local hospital.
The driver lost control on Route 22 eastbound in Brady Township, hit an embankment and flipped over onto the passenger side.
