Vt. Firefighters Battle Three-Alarm Commercial Blaze

Several fire departments responded to the blaze at a store early Tuesday morning

JAMAICA, Vt. -- Chesterfield firefighters and several Vermont fire departments responded to a three-alarm fire at a store early Tuesday morning in Vermont.

The fire occurred at 2:44 a.m. at Mo's Market on Route 30, according to Southwestern N.H. District Fire Mutual Aid. The building also includes apartments above the store.

At least one person was transported to the hospital, according to Mutual Aid. Further details were not available this morning.

Officials were still at the scene this morning. Route 30 was closed as officials contained the blaze. The fire is being investigating by Vermont State Police.
