Nov. 15--ALBION TOWNSHIP -- Fire destroyed a vacant two-flat apartment building early Thursday morning.
Dane County deputies along with Edgerton, Stoughton, Evansville, Cambridge and Footville fire departments plus Alliant Energy responded at 12:03 a.m. Thursday to 594 Albion Road in Albion Township for a fully engulfed fire that was reported by a passerby, according to a Dane County Sheriff's Office news release.
The fire does not appear to be suspicious but its cause remains under investigation, the release said. There were no injuries.
