Fire Leaves Families Homeless in New Orleans

Three houses were ablaze when crews rolled up Saturday afternoon.

Several people in New Orleans are looking for homes after a massive fire on Saturday.

The fire in the 3300 block of First Street was discovered about 3 p.m. and three homes were ablaze when firefighters rolled up.

The fire escalated to six alarms before crews could get things under control. There were no injuries.

The Red Cross is assisting the families. 

The fire remains under investigation.
