Nov. 29--SALISBURY -- Two employees of the Salisbury Fire Department have been fired and two others demoted following a probe into alleged sexual misconduct and harassment, city officials say.
The employees were informed of the actions this week, the city said in a news release.
According to city officials, the employees fired were Tim Grisham and Chet Hedrick. Those demoted included a captain.
The actions come a year after the Salisbury Fire Department fired three employees following an investigation into sexual misconduct.
According to a news release, Grisham was fired, among other reasons, because he allegedly shared an "inappropriate photo" with fellow employees and because he allegedly did not tell the truth to fire department officials about the incident.
Hedrick was fired, according to the release, for allegedly sharing the inappropriate photo and for allegedly not telling the truth when he said he didn't know the person in the photo.
