March 24--FRANKLIN COUNTY -- A 24-year-old woman and her two children, 1 and 6, died in a mobile home fire in Union Friday night.
The identities of the victims had not yet been released Saturday.
When firefighters with the Union Fire Protection District responded to the 400 block of Independence at 10:37 p.m. Friday the home was engulfed in flames, according to Union Police.
Once the fire was out, firefighters found the bodies of the woman and children. A 26-year-old man who lived in the home was not there at the time of the fire.
The Franklin County Medical Examiner's Office, Union Police and the State Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the fire. The cause has not been determined.
