Firehouse announced its intent today to enter into a strategic partnership with the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo.
This new alliance allows the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo to leverage the marketing reach and content of Firehouse across all of its platforms. In return, partnering with the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo furthers the Firehouse strategy of developing a greater event presence in the nation’s heartland, via launch, acquisition or partnership.
“We have been working with Firehouse for the past two years and are very excited by their strengthening commitment to support us, helping us to realize the full potential for our conference within the state of Ohio and beyond,” said Mark Zambito, co-founder and director of operations for the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo.
“Firehouse has been a great supporter of ours and we are proud to be part of the Firehouse family.” Chris Craig, co-founder and exhibit hall coordinator also noted.
“...This year’s Expo will continue to grow with increased regional and national awareness through the Firehouse brand to bring more attendees and an expanded exhibit hall to the event to deliver an enhanced experience for exhibitors and attendees, alike,” Craig added.
Likewise, Firehouse is pleased to with the combined effort.
“The Firehouse team is looking forward to strengthening our partnership with the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo as we continue to strive towards providing the best education, training, and critical information to fire departments across all platforms, including face-to-face events,” said Greg Toritto, Firehouse group publisher. “The Ohio Fire & EMS Expo provides Firehouse with a unique opportunity to strengthen its conference lineup while also providing access to new contributors and subject matter experts across the franchise.”
In 2013 the partnership will involve combining marketing and content strengths, providing the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo greater reach in Ohio and the surrounding region, while providing Firehouse greater awareness and presence in the Midwest. The partnership will also include collaborative efforts in the development of education.
“We are committed to bringing the Firehouse brand of events to the fire service on a local, state and regional level. We feel that working with Mark and the Ohio Fire & EMS Expo team is a strategic partnership that brings the strength of our combined organizations to the state of Ohio and beyond,” said Ed Nichols, vice president of Firehouse Events. “We are excited to welcome Mark and his team to the family.”
The Ohio Fire & EMS Expo 2013 educational conference and exhibition will take place Sept. 26-27, 2013 at the Greater Columbus Ohio Convention Center.
