Dec. 10--WAGONER -- A man was arrested Monday for allegedly threatening Porter town trustees for firing the police chief.
Jarrett Daniel Stallings, 24, of Pryor, was booked into the Wagoner County Jail on a complaint of using an electronic device to threaten or harass, according to the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.
Following the Dec. 3 termination of Police Chief Darryl Jay, Stallings reportedly made threats of vandalism and arson against town trustees on the "unofficial" Town of Porter Facebook page, authorities said.
The posts were tracked to Stallings, who grew up in Porter and still has family living there, the sheriff's office said.
Authorities say more arrests are expected in the case.
