Wheel Falls off Portland Engine Enroute to Fire
The front wheel fell off a Portland fire engine as it was headed to a house fire Thursday.
The engineer managed to keep control of the rig, firefighters noted.
Fire Chief Erin Janssens said all apparatus will be inspected.
