Thousands are attending a funeral Mass this morning for Boston Lt. Edward Walsh.
Walsh and Firefighter Michael Kennedy were killed last Wednesday after becoming trapped in the basement of a brownstone.
More than a dozen other firefighters were injured in the fast-moving fire fanned by high winds.
Local hotels have offered free rooms to visiting firefighters who have come to Boston to honor their fallen brothers.
