Three Munson Township firefighters were injured, one critically, Thursday afternoon in a crash while responding to a fire call.
The driver of the rig as well as a civilian were reportedly in critical condition, according to FOX8.com.
The truck was responding to assist another department with a house fire when the collision occurred.
An eastbound Dodge Grand Caravan slowed and moved to the right, yielding to the truck. However, the driver of a GMC Acadia did not slow in time and struck the Dodge Grand Caravan in the rear. That sent it across the center line where it was hit head-on by the ladder truck, police told reporters.
