Two Boston Firefighters Injured in Three Alarmer

The three-alarm fire spread to the roof of the four-story apartment building.

Eight units were damaged during a three-alarm fire in Boston's Dudley Square neighborhood Friday.

Crews found fire showing from the top floor of the four-story, 16 unit building at 6 Waverly Street.

The fire spread to the roof and crews knocked down the flames from an aerial ladder.

Boston fire officials said two firefighters were taken to the hospital by Boston EMS. One suffered a shoulder injury.

Damages were estimated at $500,000.
