Crews had to extricate a Zeigler fire captain after she was pinned when her pumper rolled over Tuesday.
Six firefighters were responding to a house fire on Engine 302 when the apparatus when the crash happened.
The department said the rig was operating at a slow speed when a section of the road collapsed below the apparatus. The apparatus rolled onto the passenger side and landed in a field.
"We stress the official investigation from the Sheriff's Office will determine what factors did or did not play a role in the accident," the department wrote in a statement. "
The captain was flown to a trauma center. The five firefighter were taken to the hospital.
All six firefighters were treated and released by Tuesday night.
"The community support and outpouring from our public safety brothers and sisters across the state has been a blessing," Chief Ryan Buckingham said in statement.
