D.C. Engine, Van Collide; Seven Hurt

The engine was headed to a gas leak when the crash occurred.

Seven people, including four firefighters, were injured in a collision between a D.C. fire engine and a transport van.

The crash occurred in Northeast as the engine was responding to a gas leak call about 9:40 a.m., according to WJLA.

One of the firefighters and three civilians reportedly suffered serious injuries in the crash.
