Minivan Crashes into PA Fire Apparatus

Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Wagon 4 was hit while responding to another crash.

A Harrisburg Bureau of Fire pumper was struck while responding to another accident Saturday evening.

A minivan struck Harrisburg Squad 4 at the intersection of Market and South 25th Streets around 5:45 p.m., according to ABC27.com.

The Pierce pumper was placed in service earlier this years, and is the department's newest apparatus. 

Harrisburg fire officials didn't know the severity of the minivan driver's injures, but said no firefighters were injured.

The pumper was towed from the scene.
