Firehouse.com Editor-in-Chief  Peter Matthews talks with Harvey Eisner, who authored the new book WTC: In Their Own Words, which takes an in-depth look at FDNY firefighters who responded to the World Trade Center on Sept. 11 and the months following the tragic terrorist attack.

Eisner, a life-long friend of the FDNY, talks about the background of the book, which was released for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

WTC: In Their Own Words contains more than 90 interviews of responders from the first alarm, through the recovery operations. You'll read stories of firefighter's who ran from the collapsing 110-story buildings, searched the rubble and rebuilt the department.
