The Buzz on Technical Rescue: SUSAR, Air National Guard Join Efforts

Join Host Bob Duemmel and Chief Master Sergeant Daryl Cook as they discuss how military assets are being trained to assist State Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) teams when disaster strikes. Cook is the fire protection manager for the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard unit located at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. 

Chief Cook provides insight into how the program came about and the types of training that both groups receive. Cook also describes the facilities that Air National Guard members utilize in their preparation.
