Fireman’s Fund is partnering with Fire Insurance Risk Enterprise, LLC, to offer comprehensive insurance solutions to fire departments and districts. Insurance products include professional liability, medical malpractice, property (includes equipment and vehicles), and umbrella.
“In working with fire departments, our real goal is prevention – to help reduce claims in the first place,” said Jeff Griffin with Fire Insurance Risk Enterprise. “We are placing a heavy emphasis on auto driving safety and offering appropriate coverages to protect the departments and districts.”
Currently, this insurance is available to any public fire department or district in 11 states: Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado. Fireman’s Fund and Fire Insurance Risk Enterprises plan to expand the program nationwide.
