Waterway, the country's largest fire-hose testing Company is now able to serve Fire Departments, plants and refineries in Texas. Based close to Dallas/Fort Worth, the new franchise is being run by two career firefighters, Bryant Askew, Plano Fire Department and Jensen Tyre, Flower Mound Fire Department. Both continue to serve as Volunteer firefighters in Aledo, Texas.
This new franchise continues Waterway's dynamic growth this year when earlier in the year the Company added franchisee representation in Florida and Illinois. This now increases Waterway's footprint in the Southern States.

We are hopeful that we'll be able to service some of the Industrial business here as well as the Fire Departments. The fact we can test ground ladders too means that we can test two of the annual NFPA requirements at the same time."
Bryant and Jensen have been friends since high school and both followed their passion into the fire service. Bryant went straight to fire academy out of high school and then onto EMT school. Jensen being a year behind Bryant in school went to EMT school over the summer and they both started into Paramedic school together. Bryant was hired by the Plano Fire Department while in Paramedic school. Jensen finished school and went on to fire academy. He is now employed by Flower Mound Fire Department and just finished his rookie year. Both Bryant and Jensen have been involved in the volunteer fire service for six years with Aledo Volunteer Fire Department. Bryant was made Lieutenant with the Aledo VFD last October and Jensen earned the Firefighter of the Year Award in 2008. Bryant currently works as a FF in Plano and is involved with Hazmat and Confined Space Rescue. Jensen works with Flower Mound and is involved in their SAFE team public education clown program and works with their child safety seat program. The two plan to “take Texas by storm” and really educate the state and their area in north Texas about the benefits of third party hose testing, and are excited to be working with the best… Waterway.
