(OCALA, Fla.) March 26, 2013 – Ocala Fire Rescue proudly announces the promotion of Michael Alsup to the position of assistant chief. Michael Alsup has been employed with the fire department since April 1989. His new duties will include overseeing the fire prevention and training divisions.
“I am excited and honored to have this opportunity to serve the department and the city of Ocala in this position” stated Chief Alsup during a ceremony at fire station #1 on March 26th.
