Fire Breaks Out at Hospital in Bronx; 10 injured

Nov. 10, 2011
-- Nov. 09--: The FDNY tells us that nine civilians were taken to the emergecy room for smoke inhalation, and one firefighter was injured, but the FDNY was unsure how. All injuries were minor. The fire has been contained. About 250 staff and 250 patients were evacuated from the hospital, and as of 3:43 p.m. the FDNY was unsure whether they were being let back in. The hospital didn't immediately respond to requests for comment. More to come. ----
