On Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Fire Museum of Maryland and the Baltimore County Sherriff's Office will host their annual salute to Baltimore County Fire, EMS, and Military personnel. Thanks to the generosity of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts & Sciences, this event is free to the public!

On Saturday, September 10th, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Fire Museum of Maryland and the Baltimore County Sherriff's Office will host their annual salute to Baltimore County Fire, EMS, and Military personnel. Thanks to the generosity of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts & Sciences, this event is free to the public!

The Museum will have its Annual Antique Motor Fire Engine Muster and Antique Car Show, while the Sheriff's Office will feature custom cars, motorcycles, a portable jail, along with military and department vehicles. There will be something for everyone, with fire engines from the Chesapeake Antique Fire Apparatus Association, antique cars from the Antique Automobile Club of America-Chesapeake Region and drive-bys from the Chesapeake H.O.G.'s and the Boumi Motorcycle Group. Cruisin' is sponsored by the Baltimore County Arts and Sciences Commission.

The Museum will also be open from 10-4, complete with 50 fire engines, a working fire alarm office, audio tours of the Museum and of the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, a new exhibit entitled "Life of a Fireman-the Baltimore Fire Dept. in the 1870s" as well as lots of fun things for kids to do in the Children's Discovery Room.
