$170K Taken From Pa. Fire Co.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. -- Police in Lancaster County have charged a New Providence woman in connection with stealing almost $170,000 from the Rawlinsville Fire Company. Court documents state that Vicki Messier told police she took money from the fire company between 2004 and January 2009. Messier was the company's treasurer at the time. She told police that she took the money to pay credit card bills and buy clothing.

Police in Lancaster County have charged a New Providence woman in connection with stealing almost $170,000 from the Rawlinsville Fire Company.

Court documents state that Vicki Messier told police she took money from the fire company between 2004 and January 2009.

Messier was the company's treasurer at the time.

She told police that she took the money to pay credit card bills and buy clothing.
