The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the 13th round of FY 2007 Assistance to Firefighters Grants, awarding 156 grants totaling over $1.5 million to fire departments throughout the United States.
The primary goal of the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical services organizations.
