Additional 2006 SAFER Grants Announced
The Federal Emergency Management Agency today announced additional awards for the Fiscal Year 2006 Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grant (SAFER).
Two grants from funding still available from the 2006 appropriation were made, totaling over $2,000,000. The money will go towards hiring firefighters.
