Round 7 AFG Awards Announced
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency announced the seventh round of FY 2007 Assistance to Firefighters Grants, awarding 258 grants totaling over $24 million to fire departments throughout the United States.
The primary goal of the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical services organizations.
