California Department Receives New Station, Equipment

Firefighters in Chula Vista now have more fire equipment for their use, 10News reported.

The equipment comes in addition to a brand-new fire station.

Station No. 9 had its grand re-opening Saturday afternoon, and the community was invited to get an up-close look.

The need for a new station came about because of all the new housing developments being built in the area.

Station No. 9 replaces the old Station No. 3 house.
