New Jersey Fire District Budgets Approved

Township voters approved on a vote of 135-37, a fire district budget of almost $1.15 million that carries no increase in the tax rate.

Longtime Fire Commissioner C. Lester Smith, running unopposed for re-election to the five-member fire commission, received 123 votes.

The annual budget is up by $196,969.
