Convicted 1994 subway firebomber Edward Leary had his last-ditch attempt to cut his prison sentence denied, the state's top court announced yesterday.
Without comment, Justice Albert Rosenblatt denied Leary's motion to appeal his case to the Court of Appeals.
Leary was sentenced to consecutive terms amounting to 311/2 to 94 years after being convicted of attempted murder in connection with two subway explosions that injured 48 people in lower Manhattan and one in Harlem in December 1994.
