WASHINGTON DC-- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the United States Fire Administration (USFA) are pleased to announce the second round of 2002 Fire Prevention and Safety grant awards. This second grant announcement represents awards to 16 fire departments and organizations throughout the United States. The monetary investment announced in this round is $1.78 million dollars for the prevention of fire.
