NC Police Nab Man Collecting Money While Impersonating Firefighter
Police arrested a Kenly man for impersonating a firefighter.
Billy Wayne Steen, 41, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense charges, according to WITN.
Officials said he posed as a Summerville firefighter and collected money for inspecting smoke alarms.
The man posted bond and will return to court late this month.
