Tablet Command Adds Four Fire Service Professionals to its Team
Prominent fire service experts Phil Ambrose, director of California sales, Ari Delay, manager of partnerships & special projects, Don Bertucci, account executive and Corey Zander, utility and special projects product support specialist, have joined Tablet Command.
Prior to his recent retirement as a battalion chief, Ambrose, a 25-year veteran of the fire service, led the FIRESCOPE Emerging Information Technologies Group and was the emergency command/communications center chief at Verdugo Communications Center (CA). As director of California sales, he will assist agencies around the state that are using mobile CAD and incident management solutions. He offers a wealth of experience in fireground communications and response technologies.
Delay joins Tablet Command with 34 years of fire service and public safety experience, including 13 years as a battalion chief with Coastside, CA, Fire Protection District / CAL FIRE and 5 years as fire chief of the San Bruno, CA, Fire Department. In his role as manager of partnerships & special projects, he prioritizes strategic integrations, situational awareness, firefighter safety, and emerging technologies.
As the account executive for the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic region, Bertucci will seek to increase the company's visibility. He has thirty years of experience in the fire and EMS sectors as a firefighter, paramedic, fire lieutenant, and EMS coordinator.
After 33 years in the fire service, Zander left his position as division chief of the Auburn City, CA, Fire Department in 2016 to become an assistant chief at the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, where he played a key role in bringing the California Fire & Rescue Mutual Aid System into the 20th century. He will now work with utility clients and on special projects as Tablet Command's product support specialist-utilities and special projects.
“It’s not every day you get the opportunity to bring aboard this collection of incredible talent,” says William Pigeon, CEO & Co-Founder of Tablet Command. “These are leaders who understand what works on the fireground, because they’ve lived it. Their experience directly shapes how we support agencies with incidents, and aligns with our mission of maintaining the fire culture and connection that has built credibility and trust within our industry. I look forward to working closely with all of them.”
