NC Chief Ends 32-Year Career
Kinston Fire and Rescue will see a changing of the guard in 2019. Chief Donald Crawford retires Dec. 31, and the new chief, Damien Locklear, starts Jan. 2.
"I think Chief Locklear is very well qualified," Crawford told WNCT-TV. "He is going to do a very good job for the city."
