Responding Florida Firefighter Collapses, Dies
A firefighter with the Lee Community Volunteer Fire Department died Saturday while responding to the fire station, according to The Voice.
Capt. James Von Roden, 49, collapsed and was transported to the local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He had more than 15 years in the fire service.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
