Kentucky Fire Chief Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

The chief of the Westport Volunteer Fire Department suffered a fatal heart attack Thursday morning at home following a training exercise.

The chief of the Westport Volunteer Fire Department suffered a fatal heart attack Thursday morning at home following a training exercise, according to WHAS-TV.

Fire Chief Chris Stock participated in a wildfire training exercise earlier in the day before collapsing at his home.

He is survived by his wife, who is an EMS worker, and twin 5-year-old sons and a 10-month-old daughter.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
