Ohio Firefighter Dies Following Heart Surgery

A firefighter with the Jerusalem Township Fire Department died Oct. 23 following heart surgery.

An Ohio firefighter died Oct. 23 following heart surgery.

On Oct. 19, Daniel Wilson, 58, complained of not feeling well when he returned from an EMS call with the Jerusalem Township Fire Department in Curtice, according to the USFA.

The following day, he called an ambulance to respond because he was feeling ill.  He was transported to the hospital where he underwent heart surgery.
