A Marshall firefighter was found dead on the morning of Oct. 24 inside his station, according to The Marshall Democrat-News.
Firefighter Randall Scott Davenport had worked two structure fires one day earlier in Marshall and Saline County before he died at the firehouse.
Information about his cause of death was not immediately available, according to the newspaper.
The 36-year-old served with the department for four years and is survived by his wife and two young children.
