Gloster, Mississippi Fire Commissioner Dies In Truck Wreck

A Gloster alderman who also served as fire commissioner died in a wreck en route to a grass fire Sunday afternoon, according to area officials.

Elliott Davis Jr., 51, of Gloster, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Amite County deputy coroner Cam Sharp.
