Florida Firefighter Dies After Shift

Orange City Firefighter Homer Harrell died Monday morning.

A Florida firefighter died of an apparent heart attack after his shift.

Orange City Firefighter Homer 'JR' Harrell, 46, had responded to a number of emergency calls during his previous shift, the USFA said.

He was found dead Monday morning.

His death brings to 19 the number of firefighters killed on duty so far this year.
