Miss. Firefighter Dies of Heart Attack
A Mississippi firefighter has died, a week after suffering a heart attack.
Ashland Firefighter John Shoup, 38, died Sunday, March 15 at a hospital in Jackson, Miss.
On March 7 at a structure fire, he complained he wasn't feeling well and went home.
A few hours later his wife took him to a local hospital where he was treated for a heart attack. He was transferred to a facility in Jackson where he died.
Funeral services are pending.
