Procession Escorted Slain ID Firefighters

Hundreds are lining the streets, many carrying flags, as the bodies of two battalion chiefs are escorted home.

People are lining the roads as the bodies of two fallen firefighters are escorted home.

Kootenai County Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Frank Harwood, 42, and Coeur d'Alene Fire Battalion Chief John Morrison, 52, were shot and killed at a brush fire Sunday afternoon.

Fire and EMS apparatus and police cruisers are escorting the two from the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office, KREM reported. 

The will be headed on I-90 to the Couer d'Alene exit.
