Video: Banana Ball’s ‘The Firefighters’ Players React to Meeting the Real Thing

Members of The Firefighters baseball team shared their experiences from FDIC, emphasizing the conversations they had with firefighters and what it means to them honor the fire service while playing Banana Ball.

Firehouse’s Ryan Baker interviewed interviewed Mason Maxwell and Blake Morgan from the Banana Ball Championship League team, The Firefighters, during FDIC.

The two players were brought in by Lakeland Fire + Safety, the company that manufacturers The Firefighters customized turnout gear. They discuss their experiences at the conference, the conversations they had with firefighters and what it means to them honor the fire service while playing Banana Ball.
