Two people were seriously injured during a multiple alarm fire at an Indianapolis auto repair shop on May 27.
The fire started after the shop owner's clothes caught fire while he working with a torch. Another worker attempted to extinguish the flames and both were seriously burned.
Fire crews called or a second alarm soon after they arrived due to heavy smoke and fire conditions involving the one-story commercial building.
Firefighters worked for two hours to contain the stubborn blaze.
The incident commander requested the building be immediately demolished due to the extensive damage.
The Marion County Board of Health also responded to the scene to investigate a large amount of spilled chemicals.
