Photo Story: Kitchen Fire Spread to Del. Home

A June 14 fire that originated in the kitchen of a Glasgow home caused extensive damage.

The Aetna Fire Company was dispatched with surrounding  companies to a house fire on Frazer Road. The Fireboard advised that the resident was reporting a kitchen fire with fire coming from the window.

Units went on scene with a 1 1/2-story dwelling with fire showing from the rear. A tanker was requested.

Crews from 9-3 and 12-6 advanced the attack lines into the home.

Crews operated for approximately two hours.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office was called into investigate the cause of the fire.
