Photo Story: Flames Ravage Historic Texas Home

A Hillsboro home that was built in the 1800s was destroyed by a fast moving blaze on Feb. 26.

Firefighters from Abbott, Bynum, Covington, Itasca, Peoria and Whitney responded to the fire that was discovered just before 1 a.m.

A defensive stance was used while crews trained hose streams to protect neighboring homes. 

The family and there pets were able to escape.
