Los Angeles firefighters worked for 45 minutes to contain a March 9 dwelling fire.

Units were called to the 600 block of East 29th Street in in the South Central District and found flames showing from the one- and two-story dwelling that included several residences.

Firefighters stretched hoselines through the front and rear of the house and found that fire extended to the attic. 

There were no reported injuries and the occupants escaped safely.
