Photo Story: Texas Crews Tackle House Fire

Fort Worth firefighters found the rear of the one-story home fully involved.

Three handlines were used to contain a June 16 house fire in Fort Worth.

Companies were dispatched to the 2400 block of Marshall Street around 10 a.m. and Engine 1 found heavy fire showing from the rear of the one-story home.

Engine 1 established a water supply just past the house and companies deployed to attack lines through the front door of the home.

A third hoseline was stretched to the rear of the home.

The fire was knocked down in 15 mintues.

A dozen fire companies responded to the scene.
