Fort Worth firefighters got a quick knockdown on a bedroom fire on the city's east side late on Jan. 16.
Engine 3 arrived in the 4400 block of Crenshaw Avenue just after 11 p.m. to find light smoke showing from a one-story dwelling.
Once inside the home, they encountered heavy smoke conditions and firefighters stretched an attack line.
Engine 22 and Truck 14 conducted searches and worked on ventilation.
The fire was knocked down in five minutes and placed under control in 20 minutes.
Four engines, one ladder and two chiefs responded to the fire.
